In the spring of 2021, a porta cabin was delivered and installed on the site of the proposed new masjid to commence prayer with jamaat whilst the planning works for the new masjid were still ongoing.
The cabin was organised and funded by the committee members of the Al-Ihsan Trust, and volunteers helped in redecorating the exterior and interior of the cabin to provide a comfortable prayer space.

Access to the cabin for prayer can be found from the gated door entrance to the right of the existing cottage (opposite Al-Hikmah Centre) from Track Road. A sign has been put on the gated door to help identify the entrance.
Lights have been installed around the entrance and path to provide safe access to the cabin. Heaters were placed in the cabin to provide warmth during the winter months. There is also a toilet and wudhu area located near the entrance gate to the cabin.
The existing cabin can accommodate up to 35 people, however due to its popularity within the local area, plans are already in place to install another cabin next to the existing one in order to double its size and capacity.
